Are Your Life and your Relationship Issues Fated? Part 6 Nature versus Nurture:

Here is part 6 of an important a blog and video series which comes in six parts. It gives you fascinating and truly valid information helping you to decide to what extent your life and your relationship is Fated.

And of course it points to the crucial issue of: what can we do about this insight?

I have kept the material simple and accessible and you will see that the combination of Western Astrology with Vedic Astrology can predict with awesome accuracy important dimensions of what our personality will be, what our Destiny and Fate direction is, what our Love Scripts are, and what actions we are likely to do in this life.

In part 4 we talked about the crucial concept of Sub-personalities in the Western natal chart.

Another crucial contribution from psychodynamic Western Astrology is the concept of ‘Nature versus Nurture’.

See the video: https://youtu.be/3jJlDxqcW9Y

In all my Astrology Readings, I combine Western Astrology (both psychodynamic and Evolutionary) with Vedic Astrology. The result is a uniquely thorough and exceptional window into your life and future.

Nature tends to be inherited characteristics.

Nurture is typically the effect on us of our earliest upbringing.

Nature v Nurture astrology clearly demonstrates to us answers to questions such as:

What are the forces that drive us?
What are the routes to us developing understanding ourself?
What are the gateways to our healing and empowerment?

Sometimes the effect of our Nurture actually produces quite a different person from the Nature we were born with.
Sometimes, this can actually be to better equip us for our life.
But more usually, the skewing effect of our Nurture actually puts us out of touch with qualities that we would have benefited from greatly that are within our inherited Nature – qualities that have been overlaid or submerged by our upbringing.

And so a whole life script needs to be developed to overcome the challenge of lost Nature, of often unwanted effects of Nurture.

This is a challenge of understanding; it is a challenge of transformation. It is a challenge to become the person we were born to be.

In fact, in psychodynamic western astrology, a specialized birth chart can be erected to show the effect of Nurture. It’s called the House Chart. It is the effect on the person of his earliest upbringing environment, which can in fact complete skew his nature or completely cut him off from his nature, for good or ill.

Our ordinary birth chart in western astrology (our Natal Chart) is the chart of our Nature (our inherited nature) and our natal chart has the twelve signs of equal size. The twelve Signs, and the way the planets are distributed within them, demonstrate our inherited Nature, and so it is important to note that in western astrology, it is the twelve Houses that are of unequal size (in all but one of the House systems) and it is these unequally-sized Houses that show the effect of our upbringing environment, our earliest nurture environment. It is the Houses, therefore that show the effect of our Nurture. The Signs show our Nature.

So, in the ‘House Chart’ of Nurture, it is the twelve Houses that are of equal size, and so the twelve signs therefore become of unequal size.

And this means that in our House Chart the aspects between our planets can alter.

Thus we can demonstrate and understand the difference done to a person’s Nature – and by his Nurture.

Example:

Let’s mention a case where Neptune becomes in an opposition aspect to a man’s Moon in the House Chart – the chart of this man’s earliest Nurture environment.

The Neptune opposition moon aspect was not there in the birth chart.

This makes the man feel ever unsure about what he really feels, ever deluded or ever confused – until he learns to disentangle the effects of his upbringing, to rise above it and stand in his strength.

So the principle in Nature v Nurture analysis is that:

Planets in signs are our inherited nature.

Planets in houses are our nurture or the effect of our upbringing – most especially our earliest upbringing.

This is the ‘nature versus nurture’ debate.

The Question is: Who are we? Are we our nature or are we our nurture?

And of course we can go on from this astrological psychological insight to transformation and healing.

We MUST go on from insight to HEALING.

All my Astrology Readings and Courses are attuned to the need to avoid sticking at legalistic even disempowering astrological declaration, but to use it in fact to achieve healing and empowerment: to achieve the special reason we incarnated to become this life time.

In fact, it’s also important to know that there is in psychodynamic western astrology a ‘Dynamic Counting Table’.

Our Dynamic Counting Table assesses the effect our earliest Nurture environment has on our Nature.

Our Dynamic Counting Table assesses the effect our earliest Nurture environment has on our Nature with reference to two things:

Modalities

and

Elements

(These are defined below).

The Dynamic Counting Table is the Table which shows the effect of your Nurture (most especially your earliest upbringing) on your Nature (your inherited makeup).

So what are the Modalities and the Elements?

A. MODALITIES:

Cardinal energy is extrovert, initiatory, working and doing.

Fixed energy is stabilizing, security, seeking and acquisitive.

Mutable energy is restless, reflective, seeking and changeable.

B. ELEMENTS:

Fire is vitality spontaneity, intuitive faith in one’s own abilities.

Earth is practical, efficient, realistic, sensual and security-conscious.

Air is communicative, rational, thinking, emotionally detached.

Water is feeling, sensitive, emotional, instinctive.

So, let’s return to the Dynamic Counting Table of our case example man, whose House Chart gave him a new destiny to deal with in his consciousness and his life: Neptune opposition Moon.

So looking at this person’s Dynamic Counting Table in terms of Modalities, it can be seen at a glance his upbringing or Nurture made him far more Cardinal than he were born to be.

In other words he was stressed to get noticed and fill the gap in love and attention.

This is a huge increase which will distort the way he lives and stress him out and cause pressure on the adrenals.

And looking at the person’s Dynamic Counting Table in terms of Elements, it is easily seen that his Fire was put out and his Water greatly increased.

In other words, his Fire = will and action had a cold deathly hand put on it, but his Water = intuition and sensitivity was greatly increased – as he tried to work out and understand what on earth were the distorting pressures he had been born into?

There are six parts to this mini-series:

Part 1:

So this is the first part of a six-part mini-series on the subject of: Are Your Life and your Relationship Issues Fated? It introduces two breakthroughs:

The introduction of Chiron and Lilith into the interpretation structures of Vedic Astrology.

The Creation of LoveStarDating: the new worldwide website for those following a spiritual pathway who are also seeking love: https://lovestardating.com/.

Parts 2 to 4 introduce you to three further features from the wonders of Vedic Astrology which open us to Fated dimensions of our Life and our Relationships: a brief mention of just some – just a few – of the utter gems of fate and destiny declaration and spiritual understanding that are offered by Vedic Astrology, as follows:

Part 2: The Nakshatras: The 27-sign Lunar Zodiac of Vedic Astrology that sates such gems as to the fated nature of our personality and relationships – but with opportunity and need for growth in spiritual awareness and healing to meet possible negative dimensions of this fate.

Part 3: The Dashas: the Predictive Periods of Vedic Astrology that do unfold in a fated way at birth and infancy and through our life – but, again, with opportunity and need for growth in spiritual awareness and healing to meet possible negative dimensions of this fate.

Part 4: Darakaraka and Atmakaraka: The Indicators of who we are seeking in love and What we are driven to, to fulfill our incarnational destiny in this incarnation – and to what extent the two coincide and are compatible, or how any divergence needs to be handled and healed.

Parts 5 and 6 introduce you to two key dimensions that have fated dimesnions, utterly needed declarations from Psychodynamic Western Astrology, as follows:

Part 5 presents quite a fated feature of our personality: our sub-personalities. Some of these we may be aware of, others we may be unaware of though they are working away powerfully in our shadow self.

Part 6 is the important issue of: are we the product of our inherited nature OR are we the product of our Nurture, our earliest upbringing environment. And it may be that quite beyond our conscious control we start off in a nurture environment that is even possibly totally at odds with our nature!

Are Your Life and your Relationship Issues Fated? Part 5 Sub Personalities

Here is part 5 of an important a blog and video series which comes in six parts.

OK, so having mentioned three of the unique wonders of Vedic Astrology that are so crucial for understanding our fate and destiny and personality and relationship, now let’s look at two crucial wonders from Western Psychodynamic Astrology as well.

I always combine the two when i give a reading.

Sub-personalities:

First of all, let’s look at sub-personalities.

See the video: https://youtu.be/Q8DeNv4GRJk

It is so important to know what our sub-personalities are. And this is especially true if it’s a case of ‘Unaspected subpersonalities’, or subpersonalities that are only part time connected to the rest of the chart.

I give a simple and clear example:

Let’s look at the case of a man who has Neptune sextile Venus, but neither of these planets connect to any other planets in his chart.

So this is an ‘Unaspected Subpersonality’.

It’s cut off from the rest of his natal chart.

This man is looking for the utterly sublime and sensitive in love. He may find it. Or he may project it onto another who is later revealed not to have that quality at all – he was placing a projection on her.

And because neither of the planets in his sub-personality connect by aspect to any other planets in his chart, much of the time he will be out of contact with it – though it will likely be working away unbeknown in his subconscious all the time, and this subpersonality will likely be strongly influencing his values and behaviours and attractions, but all this will be unconscious and unbeknown to him.

If he lives with the unconscious self that he is not getting his Venus-Neptune ideal love from his relationship, he could be raging away – and not know why!

And another important thing to know is that when either of these planets are activated by progression or transit, the sub-personality will suddenly come alive and into his focus and he might be completely taken over by it – and it will drive all he feels and does.

And it is important to know, also, that when the transit or progression activation moves out of orb, the activation of his subpersonality will fade away and cease. And unless he develops awareness of this issue, he will lose all he gained during the activation.

And these qualities that can be activated by the Venus-Neptune combination include not only devotion to the ideal in love, which can be the Pied Piper. It can include psychism that arises then falls away and is lost, visions, sensitivity to rock energies. Illusions.

People can encounter and totally fall in love with the Venus-Neptune man, and only later realize there’s a lot more to his personality (for good or ill)!
